the perma patch is ingenious.
its pretty much a full cfw, imho.
PSP 3002 - 4.20 → 5.51 → 6.20 → TN-A → TN-B → TN-C → 5.03 → GEN-C prome-4 → 6.20 → TN-C → TN-D → 6.35 → PRO-B2 → PRO-B3 → 6.20 → PRO-B4 → PRO-B5 → PRO-B6 → PRO-B7 → PRO-B8 → PRO-B9 → PRO-B10

Wrong, it is just an autobooting LCFW, not more, not less!

With a full CFW you can modify the flash0 (nearly everything) and you can unbrick it via the recovery menu.
The last thing is possible with the perma patch too, but if the right file is corrupted, it isnt working at the perma patch anymore, but still working with cIPL CFW.

Actually there are just 3 things:

PSP with full cIPL CFW
PSP with LCFW/HEN
PSP with autobooting LCFW/HEN

(And PSP with OFW ^^)
White PS Vita Wifi - 36 GB - 2.12 Vita HBL
White PSP Fat 1000 - TA-081 - 6.60 ME-1.8
Black PSP Slim 2000 - TA-085¹ - 6.60 ME-1.8
White PSP Go N1000 - TA-091  -  6.60 LME-1.8
Black PSP Street E1000 - TA-096 - 6.60 LME-1.8

We can unbrick a semi-bricked PSP by recovery menu if we have permanent patch, So it does make a difference! ;)

and what if the flash0 is formatted? even a full cfw won't help you. not mentioning if the recovery file is corrupted. it would still only save from a semi-brick (and maybe a bit larger issues, not more), because if you don't know what is booting the recovery menu and erase it, you are doomed.
only a pre-ipl hack can save from a full-brick ;) (which is the pandora battery and magic memory stick, because the system files are booted from the MMS. and how would you boot a recovery from nothing?)

i voted for the full CFW, it's always good to improve the experience and knowledge ;)

lol, I figured that out by intentionally erasing my whole flash0 out of curiosity. ;)

Davee just asked what you guys would prefer, he did not say that he has something which can do this, e.g. cIPL for never PSPs

That's true, he never said he is (or is going) to work on any new cfw.

Maybe he just changed careers from hacker to survey researcher.
