While I have a 1000k fully hackable ( :P ) I think if I had a model that was not so hackable i'd still vote "tiny risk".

Way I see it, why make progress hold back because a small bit of fear? If people are truely scared of bricking their console, then they simply do not have to use it. From day 1 there has always been a risk of bricking. Fair enough 1k/2k models can be unbricked, but there was a time where they could not.

I say: Go for it, if it's risky, just stick a big fat disclaimer on it :-).

I vote for a risky CFW, I use but not that I really care about perma, also its only 10~15 seconds to enter in lcfw mode
but I think it will be interesting and also I'm not afraid of a little risk. People that dont want to use will always have LCFWs

As like CrazyLinuxNerd I say:
Bring it on.

Also it gives more flexibility. AT least you won't sh*t bricks whenever you wanna try another CFW. LCFW isn't an inferior thing like it used to be on the 5.03 days, which was a pain to get it to work.

I don't know why people think permanent patch is dangerous. It tests your device if it is compatible at first, and if it is, That's it! Now no problem for crashes and nothing will happen now. People are just paranoid(PSP Go is an exception). Till now I didn't heard any PSP 3000 bricking because of permanent patch. Just the problem is, its 6.20 and so its not the latest. But as I don't need Qriocity and can play latest games on 6.20 itself, I prefer permanent patch only! ;)

i don't believe permapatch is overrated, it's extremely useful when you convert a PSX game and have to test some pops or when you install a plugin because you may have to restart your PSP several times because of crashes etc. and those "10 secs" become minutes... lots of people mess up their PSP because they edit/move things where they shouldn't ;) and why waste 10 secs to start fastrecovery/launcher when you can save time

i'd test a CIPL based CF if and only if someone granted me there's the possibility to unbrick my 3k too, else i'm fine with my permanent patch :)

Where's the fun if there's no risk involved? Full CFW for 6.60.
