The only reason I would use permanent CFW on an un-hackable(TA-088v3, 3000 and Go!) is if I had a way to un-brick it if ever I had that problem. "Lite" CFW is easy to use and safe for almost all users.

its not very accessible though, is it?
I wouldn't use a perma on my 3000 personally, but I think it would be very interesting to see one made :)
My PSPs:
Spoiler
PSP 3002 (03g) 6.60 PRO-C (thanks Coldbird & Virtuous flame!)
PSP 2002 (02g) 6.60 ME-1.8 (thanks Neur0n!)

If you want anything translated to/from japanese (to/from english) for your Homebrew, send me a PM and I'll see if I can help :)

that's the problem making the mms for the v3 is quite bothersome (said by my friend) as for the pandora bat a hard modded should work

I have a PSP Go with 6.20 PRO-BXX permanent pacth.. it is like a "full" custom firmware.. i thinks only lags some secunds at loading the CFW modules on startup.. and risk of brick is really tiny whean installing the permanent patch.. replacing the vsh module original..
And it is soo cool, works really greats!

It depends
If the brick risk was the same as any other cfw / ofw installation, then why not
else better use lcfw
