I recently acquired a PSP and I wanted to install CFW. I followed the guide on the main page but could not update to 6.60. I got this error message:

"The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be started. (DRNFFFFFFCD)"

I looked around and I found some really old threads on the subject but am generally unsure if they are reliable. Has anyone ran into this error and now how to fix it? Thank you. Sorry if this isn't in the right place.

EDIT: I forgot to say this is a PSP 1000 and am currently on 5.0

If it's a 1000 and has serious flash0 problems a Pandora battery is nice to have.

Soft problem - simple make hard mode pandora +mms or soft mode pandora and mms. Better use on PSP the PSPtool 1.0 and do MMS then u will not have problem - i tested pandora many times on 100x and 200x PSP.

Of corse to soft mode i think u have CFW on 5.XX FW. Becouse if not on OFW not launch PSPTool . Then Use Hard mode method - cut in battery to pandora to get service mode and PSP Grader or Ruins MMS to make MMS from PC

ID Storage corruption.

A pandora is recommended to fix this (alongside the DDCv8 tool).
