Hi, I just wanted to quickly ask something which was probably already answered but I'm really sick at the moment and can't think straight.. Lol.

On a non-backwards compatible PS3, running 4.65.1 Rebug, do I just transfer my PS2ISO's into the internal drives PS2ISO folder and then they work through multiman?

I've never used any form of Cobra, or PS2 related things on my PS3 before so this is all new to me, haha. :P

Yes, but unfortunately you will have to use wired controller this way.

An Alternative is, to switch to original PS2 emu (as opposed to cobra ps2 emu).
Wireless controlls will work this way, but you will have to use PS2 Classics method, which
you have to convert your games for. This can be done with "PS2 Classics Manager" on your PS3 .
Once you have your game(s) converted, you start them with "PS2 Placeholder"

Thanks man, that's great news. Sucks about the wired controller but bugger trying to do the classics method, I think I did actually try it once but just gave up. Lol.

This may sound a little silly, but has anyone seen those PS2 to USB adapters you can buy to plug a PS2 controller into a PS3? - I wonder if you could use a wireless PS2 controller + that adapter to have a nice wireless controller on the PS3.

I have one of the adapters but unfortunately I don't have a wireless PS2 controller to test this.. If I can find a friend who has an old one I may give it a try though. :)

I still haven't updated yet as I lent my PS3 to a friend to play some games, lol. - Does this 4.65.1 CFW allow you access PSN since 4.65 is the newest firmware? - Just asking as I want to download some games for my Vita 3.18 using it.

Yes it does. However there is still a risk of getting banned.
You can minimize the risk by using SEN Enabler or PSNPatch to disable syscalls and clear some LOGs (amateurishly speaking) therefor it is harder for Sony to detect that you are using a CFW.
But do this at your own risk, as there are reports of people who still got banned, even when they were using said methods!

BTW this can be done with older CFW versions aswell, you just have to use a Version Spoofer (+ SEN Enabler or PSNPatch)

No, you can update from 4.65.1 to 4.65.2 REBUG REX when it was released (i testing right now the early preview from 4.65.2 and all bugs seems be patched)

i m trying to load psx isos with no luck
i converted my bin/cue to iso with bchunk. when i load them with webman, nothing happen(no cd icon) while multiman says error: not implemented.

any help? ps2 and psp are working.

bin/cue work fine for me, no conversion needed. Just place both files in the PSXISO folder. (make sure, they both have the same filename)

webman cannot load bin
multiman opens bin in hex viewer

is cobra enabled on your rebug?
