rebug tends to be far more stable then any of the other cfws out there


webman is built into the Joonie edition
it controles all psp,ps1,ps2,ps3 iso loading
also the fan gopse nuts most of the time on a01's

Idk why they said DEX and Cobra at the same time causes freezes because that's what I've been doing since I installed it. I've played about 3 or 4 hours since I installed it without problems.
I still advise those without flashers not to use DEX and Cobra just in case

have you gotten the ps2 isos working?
i got psx/psp/ and ps3 working fine but ps2 isos always load back to xmb?

install 4.55,then load it and do an update from within multi man, thats what i did

I wasn't able to use a spoofer with this Firmware. I tried the ones in MultiMan, Webman and PSNPatch, none of them worked.
Also i couldnt' really notice any advantage over Rogero 4.46 Cobra7 which i went back to. I was hoping for improvements in
PSP and PS2 emulation due to the Cobra update, but i couldn't notice any.
I'm new to PS3 CFWs but as far as i know DEX is not really intersting, if your not a developer?!

What's your opinion on this? Why would you recomment updating to this?

TBH if you are not a homebrew dev or a tester (like me) Then there's really no use for a DEX converted PS3.
I should also add that you should NOT try this without a hardware flasher.
For example, the first time I tried to convert my PS3 to DEX I got a full brick.
Without a flasher, there's no recovering from that

Just read the article, thanks. I didn't try Rebug mode when i was testing it, so i guess that's why spoofing didn't work.

Do you have any idea what changes were made with the Cobra update?
