Remote Play Cwf trouble

Post by pancakes4ever » Wed May 28, 2014 1:11 pm

So after a long day fiddling with the ps3, I have found myself on rebug 4.46 (I chose this over rogero because linux). [yaay!]
Anyway, I downloaded multiman and ripped a few games (my physically purchased copies) to hdd, copied, edited and replaced the param.sfo so that I can play them on my vita.
For some reason, however, I'm still getting the "sony doesn't like for you to have fun, this game is not supported by remote play" error.
What'd I do wrong? I've checked and double check that the param.sfo was edited. Do I need to copy to ISO before it'll work? Do isos even work on the main hdd?

Edit: by "isos even work" i mean, does Iso loading on a non cobra cfw even work?

#Update: I been googling furiously for days and haven't found anything definitive. While a lot of people are getting it to work, it seems like they are doing so on 3.55 which requires one to use mobile phone as the device classification when registering the vita . The other thing I'm noticing is that aldostools give options for psp but the attributes line in the param.sfo has a value option available for vita. I'm thinking there is a correlation. Last night I attempt to change the hex value which failed. (I blame it on the fever I had yesterday). While I'm not playing ps3 games on my vita yet, this does give me the impression I can use the non iso dumps as I corrupted the game by changing the sfo.

Note: I did notice "cwf" in the title but left because custom were-firm sound pretty awesome.
