How to downgrade a ps3 slim 4.53 using e3 card reader?

Hello everyone! so i have a ps3 slim
running 4.53 ofw and have bought an
e3 card reader (*Not* the e3 flasher)
which is a usb downgrade dongle. i was looking online and most tutorials are from 2010 or 2011 and are really old and only show how to use it to downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41 which is no help at all.
So my question is
what software do i need to install onto the e3 card reader to downgrade my ps3 to v3.55 ofw successfully?

And is it possible to use this link:

To downgrade to v3.55 with the e3 card reader?

You cannot downgrade a PS3 without a E3 Flasher
The e3 card reader is what puts your PS3 into factory service mode in order to downgrade.
The card reader alone will not downgrade a PS3 that's past 3.55 as it was patched.
