Multiman + NTFS + Big Files + external

Post by arthanis » Thu Aug 15, 2013 5:14 pm

I'm aware that some games won't work on external HD because they have files bigger than 4gb, which is the limit of the fat32 file system.

My question is if there is any drawback on using multiman with NTFS and if that will allow games with files larger than 4gb run from my external.

You can not do that. You can use NTFS only to transfer game to the internal HDD of PS3. Also mM has a feature called Game Cache, mM transfer >4GB file to internal HDD, but you will be able to run game from external HDD. NTFS is only for transfer not to run games.
