Issue with Sixaxis Controller and PS Vita Remote Play

Post by ndh777 » Sun Jun 02, 2013 7:00 pm

Every since I jailbroke my PS3, it has been having some connectivity issues.

Both of my controllers randomly disconnect when I'm playing a game or watching a movie. I am playing with them connected to the PS3 via USB. When I'm doing that, the PS3 will display the message saying that a controller is not connected or it just won't let me move. When I look at the controller, the lights are blinking on all four spots and clicking the PS button reconnects it.

When I connect my Vita to my PS3, it also has some issues. When I try using Remote Play, it won't connect. (I always connect over Private Network because I can't do WiFi). To use Remote Play, I have to manually go under the Network tab on the XMB and select "Remote Play" or I have to have my PS Vita turn on my PS3 using Remote Play. Then when I'm playing a game, it will disconnect the Vita. But I just reconnect and can continue playing the game.

I had someone open the PS3 to downgrade it so I'm wondering if these are issues with that, perhaps he accidentally moved a wire and caused it to malfunction. Then I thought that maybe these are common issues with the PS3 or maybe even with my CFW. Does anyone else have these same problems or know about the possible causes?

Before I may be able to help you, could you try to re-install 3.55 OFW? ***MAKE SURE IT IS 3.55***.

If the issue is still happening, it may be your controller or Bluetooth Connector.

1.) Re-install ***3.55*** OFW [Then report back on the results of the connection]

Once you've done this, ask me for the 2nd option of the potential issue.
