Netflix, PSN, over Jailbroken PS3?

Am I at risk of getting banned if I logged into the PlayStation Network to play Netflix even though my PS3 is jailbroken? And I was also curious if I was at risk if I log into PSN and play disc games over PSN if that would risk me getting banned.

I understand that if you play a game like Call of Duty over PSN and you are not playing the game with the actual game disc that you are most certainly guaranteed to get banned, but all of my games that are backed up are solely there for convenience and I own every single one of them in disc form so no piracy from me. But my question is if it would be okay to play the game over the internet if I was using an actual disc or is just having a jailbroken PS3 going to get me banned?

You are at risk with regards to signing in to PSN in general on a jailbroken system regardless of whether you're playing games from HDD or Disc. Having said that; I'm unsure as to the ban rate for signing in to use Netflix.

That said; you can unban yourself, so it's no biggie really.

Actually, it is a big deal, since it comes at the cost of another Console ID, and those don't come from nowhere.

Yeah, I realize I can do that, but like jc_gargma said, it's too much of a hassle lol I'd rather avoid it at all costs if possible. I have other devices to watch Netflix on but it'd still be nice to watch on here.

Guess Sony will just be missing out on more of my money.

as long as you dont run homebrew rebug 4.21 runs everything supplied by psn fine.
youll only git banned for running modified softwere or homebrew on the system before or during your psn setion.
just shut the system down and it clears your softwere list that sonys looking for

so restart after your system after running homebrew or "what have you" that you dont want sony to see before logging into psn
