about PSN and Hack

im newbie and i want to buy a new console after test the psvita (sold ) i was thinking to get an xbox350 or ps3, but i dont know what console could be better, and im just looking to do this with:

install any kind of chip or downgrade (hack), available backups and ONLINE access to play it, you know what i mean¿

i like some games on both consoles, but i can take only 1 of them, so what should i choose¿¿

my titles are :

gears of war
halo 2
silent hill
Call of duty series
resident evil series
monster hunter series
dino crysis series

all of them with ONLINE

please give me some hint!

I would recommend the PS3. Now, this is rather biased as my 360 isn't hacked, but the PS3 certainly has more going for it. I would personally recommend buying a PS3 that's already on 3.55, which you can get relatively cheap on eBay. You can easily upgrade the HDD, so even if you get a 40gb model there's no issue.

The PS3 can obviously emulate multiple consoles through retroarch, it can play PS1 and PS2 roms (this is referring to all models, since the release of the PS2 classics algorithm) from your HDD, and of course PS3. Also you can play online, and if you end up getting banned, you can unban your console. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't believe the online-unbanning is currently possible for the 360.
