Can I put CFW on my ps3?
I have a PS3 slim with 4.20 OFW, but I used minverchk and it says my base firmware is 2.70. Is there someway to put CFW or downgrade my ps3 without hardware modding or hardware accessories?

No, only a PS3 on 3.55 and lower can install CFW without hardware.
A PS3 on OFW above 3.55 will require hardware (such as E3 flasher) in order to install CFW

your going to have to use a flashing tool to downgrade
if your good at soldering, you can remove the flash chip after the downgrade and sell it back off,
once downgraded you wont use it anymore other then if you brick your ps3, the cfw is just an install pup and used the same as a official update from flashcard

and eating thrifty maid noodles because of it......seriously!?! off brand noodles.....ouch i got burned by tech support.....ouch........
