Will there be a new Jailbreak release for the PS3 4.40

I recently found out I would be able to jailbreak my PS3 problem is I would need a flasher and any files I find will ask me to do a survey and I know it's fake will there be a release of a new jailbreak.

I was looking into this all last night also my slim PS3 3001 just recently stopped reading CDs the worm motor is not moving and my PS3 will not even try to pull in disc to load I bought a new optical drive and replaced it still the same so I figured maybe its drivers so I started reformatting my slim when I started estimate was 20hrs+ now I'm at 8hrs+ I also have a super slim 500GB so at first it all seemed like gimmicks all the files had serveys and passwords all over the place but the file sizes are legitimate for an update. I was just about to give up and I found a video with just a few hits 8 likes and no dislikes I renamed the file and put it in the proper directories on my flash drive I tested it on my super slim @4.40 OFW I went to update and it prompt me that there was an update for 4.40 jailbreak I didn't update my super slim but it still was about to let me update? Is this legit? I really hope more of the community would look into this. I'm going to update this to my slim 3001 when it finishes reformatting and post my results. All I know so far is my super slim was about to let this update so it may be legitimate. If you want to test the file I found message me. But I will not take blame for anything it does as I do not know myself what the file does other than the ability to prompt update while at 4.40 on a super slim. Please let me know if anything is found and I will keep everyone posted on my results

Honestly most of those are fake I was really hoping someone would tell me if they are gonna make another jailbreak for the ps3.

Ya most are very fake but the file I found seems legit like I said the PS3 super slim prompt the update I would figure that consule would have a higher security than the older models that's usually how Sony works. so that it did that I'm very surprised and hopeful it will work on my slim 3001 like I said once its done reformatting I'm trying it out ill post what happens wish me luck lol

I think the file I have is transamgrafx 4.40 beta 1 does anyone know about this?

Why did it prompt me to update? And how we're they able to access there file to be upgradable in the ps3 filesystem? That's my question here.

Like I said I haven't gone any farther than to see that the file comes up when you go to update on the xmb

I've been looking and no luck I really hope someone releases a new jailbreak soon or they might be trying to wait until the PS4 comes out then sony will stop updating the PS3 similar to the original psp or at least I hope that happens.

a flashing tool and the three musketeers patch might to still work with 4.40ofw
i don't have a system on the new update to check yet though
