Difference between DualShock 3 & Xbox 360 controller

Post by NNNRT »

I didn't know in which sub-forum to post this, so sorry if this one's wrong.
All of you guys here prefer the DualShock 3, which is the PlayStation 3 controller, I bet. The DualShock has bad L2 & R2 triggers, because they make your fingers slip off. The Xbox 360 has unparallel analog sticks & a bad D-pad. There are also many other differences, but I prefer the DualShock 3. To see more drawbacks of each controller, refer to this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=fARdxkovMhQ
The guy in this video gave a vote to the 360 because he said "It makes you feel like an adult," but the controller mixture he made at last was smartly designed. He was right about every point, but if I were him I would give the vote to the DualShock 3 because it's got a better overall.
What are your opinions guys? Post them, & include any other thing you notice & wasn't mentioned.
:D ;) :mrgreen:

Between these@
* GameCube Controller (had}
* DualShock II (had)
* DualShock III (Still have)
* Xbox 360 Controller (Still have)

I prefer the Xbox. It's heavy, bulky, ergonomic and the analogs are placed perfectly. It's also very easy to use the "claw", which I can't do on the DS3 no matter how much I try. My hand spams 9.5" from my thumb to my baby finger. Overall, I like both consoles, but XBOX 360 controller + LIVE [parties] still beat the the cr*p out of my beloved ps3...

Yes... The DualShock 2. It's only drawback is that it's not wireless. Not that important anyway.

I like the 2 controllers, the xbox360 controller feels more solid than the dualshock 3.

Well, i just sold my xbox360 and i gonna get the wireless adapter to use my second red xbox360 controller on pc.

The left joystick switches places with the d-pad, 360's controller is bigger and... that's all.
I prefer the 360's controller because it has full support for PC.

Another vote for the 360 controller. The D-Pad is terrible and for anything that requires it (e.g. Rayman) I'd rather use the DualShock 3, but otherwise the 360 controller is larger and more comfortable to hold.

I don't know what you mean by full support but I can perfectly use the DS3 on a PC, even wireless.

I've never got it to work on mine. Windows' drivers for it seem to only allow it to charge.

Same for the ps3 controller, it work well on pc with the usb cable and sometimes i used pc to charge it...
but the xbox360 wireless need the usb adapter to work. Only the wired one worked :|
