DeadalusX64 on ps3 with Cobra usb?

Post by Shaitan »

Do you think it would be possible? The Cobra usb plays MHFU, SC3 and Eveybody's Tennis fine and saving works now although you can't use saves made on a psp(at least a straight copy doesn't work) so maybe a different kind of hbl could be written so then we could use DeadalusX64 or other N64 emulator made for psp on the ps3.

Try using this: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/47549120/DaedalusX64.iso
I repackaged DaedalusX64 r777 into a .ISO by following this guide:
http://forums.qj.net/psp-homebrew-hacks ... ormat.html
Using JCPSP (a java PSP emulator for PC) I tested the ISO and it showed the message saying that Daedalus needs 4.01 m33 or later to run.... all that means is the emulator is bad.

But the .ISO was working so give it a shot with your Cobra.
Just one thing. I don't think you'll be able to save your game but I'm not sure.

Anyway, give it a shot!
I hope it works.

Thanks heaps for that mate. I'm having some ps3 issues atm but I'll try it soon, I gave it a try on 6.60pro-B but it wouldn't load but hopefully it'll be different with the cobra, it's really picky(and weird) with what it'll run

Heres a screenshot of what displays on JPCSP when I try to run it.

That means the ISO is working. (Reason it isn't booting normally is because JPCSP must be emulating a firmware lower than 4.01.)
