Do not use anything from there.
Saying a PS3 4k can downgrade to 3.55

Thanks for the answer. I allready thought that it was to good to be true. Since I'm not planning to open and soldering my PS3 I guess I'll have to wait (hope) for an exploit in the current firmware.

hi guys
i have a slim ps3 it was running 3.55 cfw until i found out over the weekend that the wife updated it so she could use iplayer
this must have been done sometime ago i used the jb dongle to install all the cfw
is there away i can downgrade it back to 3.55 i have been reading on here but to be honest i cant make out if it can be done without soldring
its a CECH-2003B

Since your ps3 has a nor , you can use e3 flasher. it has a nor clip and doesnt require soldering.

I just recently got my hands on a CECHA01 PS3 after a friend traded for my slim. After repairing the laser module and upgrading the HDD, I found out that the OFW was at 3.70, and not the 3.55 as I hoped. I remember reading about KaKaRoTo's 3.70 jailbreak, and something about it being leaked before it was completed, so development on it was halted or something?
Should I just wait until a jailbreak or CFW comes out for OFW's 3.55+, or should I invest in a progskeet flasher? I don't mind playing the waiting game, since I'm a broke college student

just install the 4.21.01 install pup after you instal rebug 3.55
same install as rebug3.55
its only one step past step 5
