ok..... i was so sad that all i had was one controller! so, i asked my dad if he could take me to gamestop to just "look around" and he agreed! so i went into the store and went straight to were the ps3 controllers were, and found out they were 50 dollars! :0<(OMG!) well, i tried to ask my dad but he just looked at me and laughed .... so i once again went home empty handed. well, i remembered that i had baught a 10 dollar logitech controller for my pc games, well... talking a long shot i went ahead and plugged it into my ps3.... AND IT WORKED!!! ????? how is that possible??? does this mean it can work on any console? or is it just a ps3 glitch? if you guys dont believe me i can post a video of it later, (unless you guys already knew a 10 dollar logitech controller would work with a ps3 slim...)

A lot of USB controllers work on PS3, and even more worked before 3.50. If you need more controllers, you can use your PSP as well, get FUSA Gamepad v0.3

Uh yeah, when i got my ps3 even i had only 1 controller.
So when i called my friend over to play i asked him to get a joystick. He got some non-branded ~4$ usb joystick which now works perfectly on my ps3 and he gifted it to me as he doesnt use it
so when i want to play with my parents i use those two controllers and my psp

it was a huge accomplishment on my behalf! i barely got my ps3 about a month ago! updated it like an idiot because i thought the ps3 was unhackable... about an hour later i was beating myself up because i found out the ps3 had CFW on 3.55 and i was on 3.56! but other than that.... getting a second controller to work with my ps3 was awesome! i also found an old Bluetooth headset laying around and it works perfectly .... what else can i find! idk ill have to look through my closet or attic to see...
it seems as though everything i find works with my ps3 as long as it has a usb connection...

Has anyone tried to use the Kinect on the ps3 yet? my brother has one maybe ill give it a try

hi all im new here and thought i would come along and say hi

after reading this post im unsure if you have tried this yet? but i use it on PSN Video Chat, Nfs hot pursuit, burnout paradise and my Pc with drivers and its the PS2 Eye Toy i bout mine for about £3.00 /$4.50 off ebay im using a 120gb Slim 2010 edition and running ( begrudgingly OFW 3.60) i did the same thing, updated without thinking!!! as i believed that the ps3 was safe guarded from things like what we can do to the psp,

then found out from a buddie he had just opened up his ps3 and formatted his 1tb HDD as i littarly updated and signed online

but i have had my ps3 for a year or so its my own fault and i have a nice shelf full of legit games so no worries really at least i have my UK3003-PSP running 6.35Pro Hen and i love , i have Vsh Menu and Nearly every Game backed up onto Disk so no damaging the umd
i have Iso tools to make my game icons and Prometh iso Loader and im a happy bunny

have found a few gliches running it but i think its my Memory card, im using a 4gb Micro SD in an Adaptor, no big issues really it intermittently cant find the card when exiting games so it has to be taken out and reinserted. or if the game is unplayable from iso it reboots the psp and the Hen has to be restarted but i can live with it

Main reason im joining you lovely like minded People on this exciting forum is that i just cant seem to get my head around homebrew apps?
and what to do with having my hen apart form playing backups on it ?

have tried a few games and apps like youtube and some really terrible doom game (sorry to the dev ;~S ) they seem really pants :s

wish i could code or make a game but wouldn't even know where to start... so i dont think im going to even try lol im not a stupid person as im currently working on my degree in physics and chemistry but psp home-brew MMmm thats a head boggler lol

for some strange reason i like hysteria project not sure if thats a home brew but it was quite good with the video for the game very well thought out game and story


would love something geeky and either for space and or something like a star / plant chart or a universe planet & galaxy tour, or even something to work out chemical formula for chemistry or even an IQ self help/tester? i cant seem to find a good one apart form the the one im addicted to playing called Brain Challenge which is quite good and tells you how much brain you use in % but i think its a fix tbh lol im sure i dont use 33% of my brain Mmm or do i? and the other Iq prog are pants , i dont understand why walking a little stick man around a 2d room works out your IQ? need something with math , logic , prob solving , you know things to get the brain working ? and is there any way of pluging a usb-B into the psp and using it like a extra card reader ?
i did read somewhere that it is only Outbound readable (treats the psp as a Slave device making it into a drive rather than a console as such) and am i right thinking the Camera attachment that the psp uses, must have a chip and or software to tell the psp that it is allowed to interact and use it as a device as i was wondering if a psp camera could be a way into the psp and make a MOD to create a 3D augmented reality headset or something? for a Home brew game im thinking about and a blue tooth device for a headset?

this reminds me when i borrowed my friend's ps3 to play Heavenly Sword. he had like no usb cable, or it was missing for his controller, and i did the same thing and tried my pc controller. it also worked, but the buttons were scr..ed around on me. like i think the square button was the same, but the remaining 3 were rotated clockwise (triangle was circle, circle was x, and x was triangle). next, when i needed to, i disabled sixaxis and switched it to analog, since it's obviously impossible and with that, i managed to play through and beat the game before he did XD

controller i used was a Saitek Rumble Force which had a 6-button topography, so you can understand the hassle of the L1/R1 buttons
