It's been in development for years, apparently. There's a good chance it'll be on the PS3 (or whatever the next-gen Sony home console is), considering that all the Persona games have been on Playstation (I think). Then again, the mainline Shin Megami Tensei games (along with some spinoffs) have begun appearing on the DS/3DS, so who knows.....

smt series has been on Nintendo consoles sense the gameboy
there's even an old xbox release in japan, though i think its rare

Hmmm really? I haven't paid much attention to the SMT games so that's an interesting point. Also, when the 3DS launched, Atlus promised a Persona game for it, which they have yet to deliver..... I remember being really excited by that news, so I'm pretty disappointed that there has been literally no news regarding that since.

Persona has taken over the "Favorite RPG" spot in my life knocking out Final Fantasy since square can no longer keep it together. SMT in general is a fantastic series and i will be waiting in anticipation until SMT4 and P5 are out!
