yakuza 1&2 hd remake

anyone else here a Yakuza series fan like me
i only have yakuza 1 for ps2 but its the whole reason i when though the mess of getting a bc ps3 just to play it on my hdtv
its a really cool series with a great plot and fun fighting system
so ive been holding my fingers crossed sense i heard about an hd remake
according to the sites i can find info on it was released nov 1st in japan

so can one our japan users give a review of the changes or differences if you have it

as a side note, i think the yakuza dragon ps3 is the most beautiful special edition ps3 released and wish i could get one

Pretty happy about this. I used to love the Yakuza series albeit not played for a very long time. I've only ever bought one HD collection (and that was the silent hill one ) which has made me dubious of them. See how it goes; I'll probably end up getting this.

i have the ico /shadow colossus hd remake and the mgs hd remake, both of witch are great, they are up scaled ps2 games and its kind of obvious, but i like them and am satisfied with what i bought
but silent hill was kind of a git it as it came out series before homecoming came out

as for the yakuza hd, the first game looks like an extremely well done remake with a huge graphical upgrade and a new menu and a few other good upgrades

also im not really big on graphics having to be great if the gameplay and story can keep me entertained for longer then it takes to earn the same amount of money i sent on basic wadge

if i spend say $30 on a game it should give me about 7 to 19 hours of entertainment depending on how well it peeks my interest vs. type of game(shooter, platformer, rpg and so on)

I was considering the Shadow of Colossus and Ico HD remake, but I have them both on the PS2 (twice actually, one of each collectors editions that are still sealed, and two to play. Think I may even have backups somewhere). I'll look into the MGS one though I think I may have the PSV one lying about somewhere - really need to check up on these things.

Anyway, when it comes to the Silent Hill, totally agree with it being a git It's weird that they'd call it a collection when it only includes the second and third game, but I digress. I've looked at the Yakuza thingy, and the graphics do look astonishing, and I'm looking forward to playing them again.

Same when it comes to graphics and that though, although I dislike paying that price for around that many hours. Probably because I remember how I payed less than that for many of my RPGs that have lasted over 500+ hours.

that's just my bear minimum of what i expect from a paid game, as you can git many great games for free nowadays on pc and other consoles that can give upward of 60+hours of gameplay

Yeah I totally agree. I was just commenting on how inflated prices are these days.

as far as dev time and production cost go, games have never been cheaper
but its really dependent on how far your willing to look in to things....but yeah
$50-60 for a 15-30 hour game is a bit much
