Thoughts on RE6

I had read a lot of reviews throwing it under the bus but I really enjoyed the gameplay, the new controls and mercenaries.
Never be as good as the classics IMO but a solid RE.

Anyone playing it on PS3? Add me for Campaign/Mercenaries help

I bought it. Completed it and then sold it. While (in my opinion) it was better than RE 5 and fun to play, it wasn't that overly great.

Agree. Literally lost the plot.

Leon campaing is the best from all of them.
In overall, I second that, it's better than 5, but not that great.

You may throw rocks at me, but the best one which I've played is RE4 on wii:)

Agreed. RE4 was the best.

I loved 5. I rented 6 didn't finish it tho. I think its a much needed improvement over some of the past titles.

I hate the move from survival horror to the action-esque sort of horror-styled games... thingTM that Resident Evil has become. Resident Evil 4 was alright, but it holds nothing on the first three, and Code Veronica for me. Resident Evil 5 was terrible, and just a huge waste of time, and 6 I refuse to buy. I played it for a few minutes at a friends house, but in all honesty, I've completely lost interest in the series since 4.

I really didnt like it. It has moved far away from its roots as a horror game. It tried to be too much like a Gears of War and failed. I really like Resident Evil: Revelations, that was way better surprisingly.

The good new is Resident Evil: Revelations is coming to PSN and Xbox LIVE as a DLC. I'm glad I won't be needing a 3DS anytime soon. RE6 Okay for me, I thought the Co-Op was better on RE5 in my opinion. I mean the whole campaign was very different from the other games. RE6 was Revisiting everything from the past games and adding all the popular games in the Mix for game play so it didn't feel inspire but rather tacky.
