omarrrio and myself aka zack321sack decided to post/share the "Team 5D's" TF6 translation patches/progresses here as well, since we experienced insulting/trolling and other annoying stuff on other boards and i am pretty sure we will not on this board (it really feels like we were abused to attract more members to the board, where the translation project currently is...we had to make it members only)
plus
no one of our team members are skilled in programming and ppl who are skilled with that maybe notice our project if posted here...we totally need help on that LBA check on game boot :?:

it looks like omarrrio is about to cancel this project after several bugs in patch v.03-A are fixed, if not a miracle happens
we should ask chuck norris to compress our translated files with a roundhouse kick or roundhousekick away those LBA check on game boot -_-'

anyways, here is our progress:

Card Descriptions: 100% (still with some translation errors and "Normal Monsters" text removed)

Characters Names: 0% (translated, but it's in the EBOOT and the game wont work after applying the translation)

Installion Instructions for Prometheus-Users: (v0.3b)
[spoiler]1- open the patched iso
2- go to SYSDIR/ and backup the eboot.bin
3- patch the iso with the 0.3b patch
4- open the iso again
5- go to SYSDIR, and reput the eboot.bin u backed up and replace the patched one
6- download this EBOOT.BIN
7- extract it's content, you will find EBOOT.OLD
8- go to your iso, SYSDIR/ and put that EBOOT.OLD u just extracted, and replace the old one.
9- enjoy[/spoiler]

NOTE: do not use the "Data-Install" function with this patch, or the game will keep switching the languages

i'm pretty sure this game will be translated to English by Sony. they translate all yugioh games. So i don't this this is necessary

we wouldn't have started this fan translation, if we were not 100% sure that this game will never get any release outside of japan

sadly, we're stuck
our translated files/archives are too big and just translating an EBOOT is not gonna work well (by looking at the project diva translation-project, im starting to understand why it doesn't work that easy)

smartest idea ever: start translating a PSP game without any clues and barely any coding skills :lol:

updated to v0.3BETA

we still need some help to get around the LBA check, btw :P

the team is currently working on the card-desc fixing and subtitles of the dueling cutscenes

how do you patch using WQSG_UMD? everytime i click "apply patch", there pops a message saying "patch applying success" but when i start playing, there are no changes.. names aren't translated..

do you use the "Data Install" function of the game? if yes, disable it

did you patched your game? if yes, read the part about "for prometheus users"

still not working?
try a different WQSG_UMD revision
