EDIT: ****, i was wrong typing your name the second time... SORRY
It would be nice to use a font like the Project DIVA Extend logo. I add some pictures of the work that I'm doing translating your files, really, thank you very much, sorry for my bad english XD!!codestation wrote:thx for the bump
Any suggestion for a good font to use in the bottom bar or i continue to use the current one (monospace 8px)? (it has to look good at 8 pixel height).

I disagree. At the sizes used in Project Diva, highly styled fonts tend to be difficult to read._JK_ wrote:It would be nice to use a font like the Project DIVA Extend logo.
That's true, I was wrong, I suggested the font for the top bar, sorry, in fact, even the font that I use for the bottom bar is too big XD!!djkn wrote:I disagree. Hmmm... That 40 chars limit has been around since first diva. At least first translation patch offered romanji lyrics and had few workarounds for limit: WritingLikeThis and simply putting ... if it didn't fit. One workaround is to simplify lyrics.codestation wrote:Hard to say, the lyrics are hardcoded to be 40 chars max so in a lot of parts the translation isn't gonna fit. If i or somebody else finds the limiter then it can be done.marioysikax wrote: - What about lyrics? Are you going to leave them original, convert them to kanji so everybody can sing-a-long or translate those to english so everyone can understand what song is about?

Just checked it, they raised the limit to 50 chars but still is too litle, in some translated lyrics it reaches 60-65 characters. Anyway, when i finish a good chunk of the edit mode i will look into the lyrics again.marioysikax wrote: Hmmm... That 40 chars limit has been around since first diva. Stupid guestions: Does it calculate western letters same size as kanji ones (I remember Kanji's taking more space than regular letters)? Maybe they intended that so lyrics actually fit on screen? Could it be possible to split lyrics and add more timing rules on songs? I dunno![]()
Also your plugin seems to be most awesome thing in whole translating scene. Everyone is translating this in multiple languages! This should be the future like you said
