Depends on the game... Some PSP games are even better in graphics!

Maybe, but the fact is that he's asking about the console, not the games. PS2's graphical hardware is better. Also don't foget PSP's screen resolution, which is lower than a standard TV, thus having less pixels to process.

This is not really something you can easily compare..
Offtopic, but I just noticed "m0skit0" is actually "mosquito"
all this time I've been pronouncing his name is "em-oh-skit-zero"

Indeed, as the personal preference for beauty can be a factor, and so is the budget and time allowances for a games development.

In other words, the PS2 has the potential of having games with much better graphics, but it all depends on how a game's developers utilize the PS2's hardware.

Think of it sort of like running a game from the 1990's on your PC. Your computer may have to ability to play current generation games with much better graphics, but it all depends on the game itself, rather than the hardware.

I think it was the PS2 in comparison to the PSP.

I got a nice laugh seeing Quake II run in 1080p on my computer (especially as it could without needing a mod.)

The PSP2 was never mentioned in this thread. This thread is a comparison between the PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation Portable.

Edit: ^ I'm slow, yet again :(.
