I had to google "senpai". In the end, I don't want noticed, I like the anonymity of being a nobody on the internet. I would like homebrewers, patchers, translators, and exploiters as seen more than just pirates, but I'm doing good to just pay the rent. I simply hope Square acknowledges the fans behind the project as fans, not just some pirates. It probably won't happen, but it would be nice to see homebrew accepted without complete negative views from companies. I let my own bias influence my opinion.

Well I was leaning more towards the patch contained far too much game code but this was unexpected.

That's not exactly fair to the company, keep in mind (as discussed above) it wasn't entirely Squenix's fault. Fans have demanded this game. I haven't cared about Final Fantasy since IX, even then It's hard to ignore the amount of threads that have come up about type-0. If, hypothetically, don't make enough money off of the announced translation, then that will just translate to English audiences not really wanting this kind of game. Yes, you have the right buy or not buy whatever you want, just keep in mind what boycotting something will translate into for these companies. That said, I highly doubt any significant group of gamers has the willpower to successfully boycott something, so I doubt any of this will make a difference and will be forgotten after the game is officially out in English territories.
