Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire freezes at memstick

When the game says "Writing to the Memory Stick" on initial launch, the game just freezes. Happens in PRO-C2 mod and OFW 6.60. Is there a patch or something?

You might want to give more info but the game works fine for me on PRO-C2 Custom Firmware Collection but you did not give region mine is USA version using inferno drivers

I'm using the USA version. Running off of a UMD. When there is no Memstick in, it will work, but I cannot save.

Sounds to me like you might have something wrong on MS either format it or do like I do
Hook to pc have it scan and repair also if you have any plugins turn them off see if it is one of those first

If it causes this with OFW then most likely something wrong with your MS BTW

Happens in 3 OFWs, 3 CFWs, and 3 HENs. still, "cleaned" MS as proposed. Nothing.

Get another MS check again if it is the stick it will not matter what CFW OFW HEN if it still has problems after new stick maybe slot or
bad UMD then if all those do it

Is this the only game threw UMD the messes up like that if so UMD if not then maybe your drive is dirty or bad

I let it sit for a while and now it's fixed . Can a mod close the thread? I don't want any necroposts about like a year later saying "I have the same problem!". I hate that.
