1- Need for Speed Underground Rivals
Underground Rivals was the first Need for Speed game developed for the PSP. It was a port of Need for Speed Underground (2003) & Underground 2 (2004) from the PS2 & PC. Underground & Underground 2 were the only Need for Speed games to feature full car customization, such as neon, decals, spinners, trunk audio, carbon fiber trunk, & many more. However, Underground Rivals did not feature free roaming, fully full customization, & online play. It was released at the beginning of the PSP life in 2005.
2- Need for Speed Most Wanted 5.1.0
Most Wanted 5.1.0 didn't feature any "wow" visual customization, but it did feature police cars (which could also be driven in Tuner Takedown), online play, & an all-new action-filled career. Although the PS2/PC version also featured free-roaming & damaging streets to gain bounty & whatsoever, 5.1.0 was still fun to play. It was released in the end of 2005.
3- Need for Speed Carbon Own the City
Carbon Own the City was between Most Wanted 5.1.0 & Underground Rivals. It had features originally from both. It was at night & more customization was added just like in Underground Rivals, & there was online multiplayer & police like in Most Wanted 5.1.0 as well. Carbon Own the City had a fantastic story in its career & was released in 31 October 2006.
4- Need for Speed ProStreet
Need for Speed ProStreet was an epic fail, & the PSP version was even worse. Even though it had shiny new customizable cars & some were already customized with too many decals & vinyls, the gameplay was bad, as it lacked action. Being aware of when breaking, pressing nitrous, & steering all the time so that the car won't get damaged wasn't so cool. And if the car was completely damaged, you lost the race, there's no chance of speeding it up again. It's tracks were real ones from different places in the world, so some were fun. There weren't any police cars, nor there was traffic. The cars, however, were grouped into different classes, & assisting was a somewhat fun feature.
5- Need for Speed Undercover
Undercover PSP was released in the end of 2008, while the PS2/PC version was released way before. It was somewhat boring, but it had spectacular highways & new beautiful cars, & there was some damaging in specific places. There were also cops, & WPA Wifi security in online play was supported unlike Most Wanted 5.1.0 & Carbon Own the City.
6- Need for Speed Shift
The last ever released & the least selling Need for Speed for the PSP was Shift. Nothing to customize, only a few banners & so, & boring tracks. Nonetheless, it did have amazingly insane graphics, that the cars shone even more than on ProStreet. It was like real-life, & it had videos with people talking. Shift was released in 2010, for many devices & consoles (including PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo Wii, iDevices, Android devices, Windows, Mac, & Linux), & maybe Shift is the only Need for Speed with versions on different places.
