Hey first off THANK YOU FOR HBL its amazing i got the SNES emulator and got some MK roms and went and played them they work ok they are just REALLY REALLY slow... unless i disable sound is this' a common thing or are there some settings i shoudl adjust to make it work perfect with sound.

From the snes9xtyl menu set cpu to 333 and play around with the frame skip. also change the engine settings. You can keep the sound on putting it at the lowest setting will increase speed without diminish sound quality too much. Also if you are not already using it there is a mod of snes9xtyl that was optimized for hbl by Thorwak. You can find it in the working emulators thread.
