Problem with TYL savestate

So TYL is working great as far as running games. When I go to save it flashes "state saved" but there is nothing in my save state menu. Also sometimes when I try to go the menu it says" out of memory" and I cannot access the menu. Any ideas? I should note that I am using the sukkiri exploit.
