Thank you for the response!
I was trying to select "Team Arena" from the regular menu.

However, when I select it from the bubble, I get error C2-12828-1.
I tried removing my pak files and it just doesn't try to open.

Is there something wrong with the pak files?
I just copied them directly off my Team Arena CD... Do I need to install the game first and run a patch or something?

Can't say if files directly from the CD work or need patches to be applied. Pak files i tested on my own come from Steam version of the game.

Try to look a bit on the net regarding ioquake3 for PC (if pak files work with ioquake3 for PC, they will work on vitaQuakeIII too being vitaQuakeIII just an ioquake3 port).

Thanks for the help! I was just missing the latest update files.

Keyboard... Is there a way to use the keyboard to change your character name?
Originally I was stuck at Unnamed. Now it defaults to my PSN name.

No, sceIme as for now it's not yet implemented (the way ioquake3 code works doesn't make it very trivial to implement and it's not something really needed to play the game).

vitaQuakeIII v.0.7 released!
This update (after a year from the previous one) improves performances as well as adds OpenArena support and MSAA support. It's now HIGHLY SUGGESTED to set the game at 480x272 resolution since with MSAA 4x, differences between native res and 480x272 res are minimal while framerate improvements are gigantic.

Changelog:
- Updated to latest ioquake3 source.
- Updated to latest vitaGL source.
- Added MSAA 4x support (always active).
- Improved performances and resource consumption of the renderer.
- Added OpenArena support (NOTE: Read the updated first post), it will be fully playable since it's a free alternative to Quake III.
