XianJian QiXia Zhuan 仙劍奇俠傳 (also known as The Legend of Sword and Fairy and "PAL") is an action RPG created by Taiwan's Softstar Entertainment Inc. The game is considered by many as simply one of the best Chinese RPG ever created. Since its first release in 1995 (DOS Version), many new versions and sequels (including a prequel) were created. However, none could replace the breath-taking and tragic tale it was born from. Here, we meet our protagonist Li Xiaoyao; an aspiring martial artist and the lovely Zhao Ling'er, a charismatic Nuwa descendant.

Note I made a version where I enabled the sharp-bilinear shader to improve the image quality. Thanks usineur for accepting my changes into the main code. Until usineur releases the next version, you can download the update from my GitHub. The update has to be installed over an existing working installation. If you look at the pixels closely in the two versions, you can see the improvement. All pixels are the same shape now.

I can't make it run fullscreen like your screenshots, and the audio lags allot.

Did you copy this
sdlpal.cfg to ux0:data/sdlpal ?

Yeah, and I get a black bar at the top. No matter what I change on the cfg it looks the same.

You should not have to edit the content of this config file.
Could you please try with the data pack provide here:

With that data pack, the screen size, audio, and AVI playback are all fixed. Thank you!
Not sure what went wrong the first time, I follwed your guide on the github perfectly.
