This is an app i created (in collaboration with CelesteBlue) that allows you to very easily Re-Install firmware 3.60

Useful if your firmware gets corrupted. or if you modified it in some way. (like CEX TO REX for example) and want to get the original files back the easiest and most effective way to do this is to Reinstall the firmware
(Update from 3.60 to 3.60) and thats exactly what this app does!

also as an extra feature. if you run this once you can then reinstall your firmware from safe mode by doing
"Update Via PSVita Card" useful if you ever brick your vita but still have access to safemode. :D

AND NO. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. YOU CANNOT DOWNGRADE!!

Gave it a try.
Opened the app, Extracting files...
Settings application pops up and loads for a few seconds.
"This system software cannot be used with this system. (C3-12050-8)"
PlayStation TV VTE-1001 (North America), firmware 3.60 HENkaku 8, 4GB memory stick, all spoofing disabled.

I'd be happy to provide any more information if you like. Thanks!

I have the same issue on a fat PlayStation Vita as well as my PlayStation TV even with no spoofing enabled and I have the easy update server disabled and if you do have smoothing enabled I get a different error code

Got the app to work as intended but I had to spoof the firmware below 3.60 to avoid error. No spoof tosses a C-2 error and above 3.60 gives a C-3 error.
