Hey, thanks for your nice plugin. I have a suggestion though:
What about including a
CPU load/usage counter for Vita too?
I'm sure that more people than just me will be happy to have both FPS/CPU load counters together, it will help the users see the real effects of Vita CPU/GPU frequency changes in real time within Vita games and know for sure if a game is CPU or GPU bottlenecked.
I think
SceKernelSystemInfo is what is needed to get idle clocks for each Vita core/CPU; according to VitaSDK docs, the returned
SceKernelSystemInfo struct contains a
cpuInfo (array with a lenght of 4, so one for each core?).
sceKernelGetSystemTimeWide might(?) be used for total clocks, with them we can calculate their difference between time intervals and use those values to get CPU idle percent and CPU usage percent too. Just an idea of course, I coded in the same way a PSP plugin that shows CPU load/usage.
If I had the VitaSDK installed I would have tried it myself.
A GPU load/usage would be great too, but I have no idea what Vita function can be used (if possible) to get the required info for it.
I hope you can take a look at it
