TheFloW has announced on twitter the VitaShell now has Mass USB Storage support in the latest version:

USB mass storage is not working here. orz I'm stuck in "Please wait...", but I can cancel it.

If you plug in the Vita without enabling the USB access does it show up as a drive on your PC? if not then it could be some driver issue.

It does show up that way, which makes me even more intrigued with this issue.

Hmm OK so the system can see it but if you enable the USB access it just doesn't show up? Odd but its a first release for it IDK try a few things then try opening a bug report on the github?
