Re: [RELEASE] vitaHexenII - Hexen II port for PSVITA

I've been fighting with music enabling, spend multiple hours, tried Hammer of Thyrion, with or without Portal of Praevus - nothing has helped. Game is running fine, just without music.
Then, following ivory_soul post, we have discovered that the reason is my Steam digital copy of Hexen II. Means I will not be able to run vitaHexenII with music, since it is not compatible. And there is no other way I can purchase that game...
Can someone that was able to run it with music PLEASE upload his data1 directory and paste a link here? I'm not asking about .pak files (in term of legal reasons), just all other ones that are not compatible with my version.
Many thanks in advance!

Have you tried renaming your music files to .mid? That's the only way I have been able to get the music to play. I've tried using .ogg files and .mp3 files but neither will play unless I rename them to .mid.

Still no luck with the music files, even after renaming .mp3 files to .mid.
Maybe it works only with certain game versions?

Everything should work with the latest offical patch applied.
Maybe the unofficial v1.15 should be supported in future as well?

I'll share a copy of what I'm using for music. If I'm violating any forum rules I'll promptly remove it.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XxK1k ... 1XV4i8fkVJ - They're MP3's just renamed to .mid.

I own the original CD version so I'm unsure about potential issues with what is on steam, but I am running V1.12 Portals of Praevus.

Also Predator, don't forget the cdtracks folder goes inside the base Hexen II data folder, not within the data1 folder.

OGG tracks are fixed in v.2.0. Either you misplaced cdtrack files ( ux0:/data/Hexen II/cdtracks/ is the folder ) or your files are incorrectly named.

While OGG tracks do work for me, I have to rename them to .mid. Do you not have this issue on your end?

Ogg files should work with .ogg naming too on v.2.0. (Not on older versions)
