On PSP, the License files are in "ms0:/PSP/LICENSE". On PS Vita are they in "ux0:/pspemu/PSP/LICENSE". The licenses ends with ".rif". I don't know if it works. Just try it out ;)
Few Informations about PSN Games and these license files I found here: viewtopic.php?p=349648

I understand what are you saying but even if it works, is there actually a way to create ".rif" files if you don't have them?

I readed that they are unencrypted and they only have a few info like game id or the id of the associated account.

I do have the .rif for spyro, I bought it on psn for my ps3 and psp years ago.
Its just not available to transfer to the vita in the U.S.

Patrick327 wrote:I have a theory on getting PSP games on your PS Vita but I'm not sure if it would even be possible to convert ISOs to PKG's. But I successful installed a Netflix PKG, it said I had to upgrade the firmware :(, just by changing the PKG to ZIP and putting the folder inside it into the folder u0/bgdl/t, restarted my vita and installed the package through the notifications center, anyway I figured if I could get a PSP game in PKG format than it should work the same way, the question I have is, is there anyway to convert ISOs to PKG files?

Could you give me a step by step when it comes to installing through the notification area? I changed the extension to .zip and copied the .zip to bgdl/t and restarted but nothing.

Holy ****! it works!

in short:
1. bought PSP game (that is not available for vita) in store and downloaded it to PS3
2. connected to ps3 using FTP to get the .pkg from ./dev_hdd0/vsh/game_pkg/xxxxxxxx
3. transfered game from ps3 to PSP using USB cable
4. started the game once on PSP (not sure if necessary)
5. copied the .rif of the game from the PSP ./PSP/LICENSE
6. pasted the .rif to ./ux0/pspemu/PSP/LICENSE
7. turned on IDU on vita and installed .pkg using package installer and QCMA
8. cleared IDU and restarted
9. repeaded step 6 (probably not necessary)

BOOM! game starts

Apparently the game i used for testing, can be installed from PS3 directly withou any of the above mentioned steps.
My bad, for not testing this first, but i was getting really excited. The game definitely was listed as PSP and i couldt select "download to Vita" from the storepage .

I have tested the method with Phantasy Star Online 2 now, which definitely cannot be transfered from PS3´and it worked.

Here is a screenshot of the game running. Game is TNT racers (it was the cheapest PSP game i could find in EU/GER shop that was not available for Vita)

Actually, can this work if you sign an iso file with fake_np and then you convert it to .pkg or .pkgs?

Like we used to do in the past to make bubbles.

honestly, this is beyond my knowlegde and i wouldn't know how to test this.
I think my method only works, because you have a legit license that is bound to your actual account.
