Hopefully we'll get a usb transfer method in the near future.
[RELEASE] EasyRPG Vita - RPG Maker 2k/2k3 player for PSVITA
Re: [RELEASE] EasyRPG Vita - RPG Maker 2k/2k3 player for PSV
Sadly, anyone hoping to play anything with even a single key file with a japanese name on the Vita is **** out of luck...
Hopefully we'll get a usb transfer method in the near future.

Have you tried zipping it with an english name then extracting it with molecularShell?Daystar wrote:Sadly, anyone hoping to play anything with even a single key file with a japanese name on the Vita is **** out of luck...

I'm gonna try that now, not holding my breath though, especially when the game has over 66k files.dots_tb wrote:Have you tried zipping it with an english name then extracting it with molecularShell?Daystar wrote:Sadly, anyone hoping to play anything with even a single key file with a japanese name on the Vita is **** out of luck...

Neither of these work.Some1CP wrote:Mandude wrote:Same. Hope there's a way to fix this.GrysBernkastel wrote: i'm having some problems transferring games who have japanese characters on their files, how can this be done?
- Run the Yume Nikki installer using Japanese locacle using some kind of locale emulator. This will make sure you don't get messed up file names.
- Copy the Yume Nikki folder to a PSP savegame folder and transfer it using qcma.
- Copy the Yume Nikki folder from ux0:pspemu/PSP/SAVEDATA/[TITLEID] to ux0:data/easyrpg-player using molecularShell

At least on games i tested, sounds are playing perfectly (if they don't need pitching).Kaizer01 wrote:Undertale is made with Game Maker Studio, not RPG Maker.gamr13 wrote:Ooh, does this mean we'll see Undertale on PS Vita?
---
Are the sounds still supposed to be weird?
I'm not really seeing any improvements in both sfx and music pitch.
Is the new version (still) supposed to have the filename EasyRPG_bigheap.vpk?
In latest build basically what's crrently broken is pitching for wav files due to a wrong flag usage in makefile (already solved in private build with this: https://github.com/EasyRPG/Player/pull/ ... 2ad7394fbf ).

That's weird, because absolutely no sound plays okay here (except music), even if they are supposed to play normally without any pitch changes.
I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, because other people either don't seem to mention or have this issue.
