Sadly, anyone hoping to play anything with even a single key file with a japanese name on the Vita is **** out of luck...
Hopefully we'll get a usb transfer method in the near future.

Have you tried zipping it with an english name then extracting it with molecularShell?

I'm gonna try that now, not holding my breath though, especially when the game has over 66k files.

Undertale is made with Game Maker Studio, not RPG Maker.
I'd forgotten that. Whoops.
PS Vita: 3.60 - d-fend
PSP: 6.60 Pro B-10 - d-fend
PS3 - gamr12 (And d-fend)

Same. Hope there's a way to fix this.
  • Run the Yume Nikki installer using Japanese locacle using some kind of locale emulator. This will make sure you don't get messed up file names.
  • Copy the Yume Nikki folder to a PSP savegame folder and transfer it using qcma.
  • Copy the Yume Nikki folder from ux0:pspemu/PSP/SAVEDATA/[TITLEID] to ux0:data/easyrpg-player using molecularShell
  • Done
Neither of these work.

Are the sounds still supposed to be weird?
I'm not really seeing any improvements in both sfx and music pitch.

Is the new version (still) supposed to have the filename EasyRPG_bigheap.vpk?
At least on games i tested, sounds are playing perfectly (if they don't need pitching).
In latest build basically what's crrently broken is pitching for wav files due to a wrong flag usage in makefile (already solved in private build with this: https://github.com/EasyRPG/Player/pull/ ... 2ad7394fbf ).

That's weird, because absolutely no sound plays okay here (except music), even if they are supposed to play normally without any pitch changes.

I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, because other people either don't seem to mention or have this issue.
