[RELEASE] RetroArch vpks 18 different cores

Mod powers memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=49401: lately there is a lot of threads with questions of RetroArch, i edit this post in order to help the most common ones. If you want to add stuff here or have any ideas just send me a PM ;)

UPDATE: download any build from the 10th October 2016 onwards to get the "All-in-one VPK"

ALWAYS download the latest: http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/playstation/vita/ but keep in mind this are not STABLE releases therefore there is at times regression on some cores. So if you find something that works stick with it.

Roms has to be unzipped to run, only Final Burn and MAME Cores roms has to be in .zip files.

- For CATSFC "Super Mario All Stars" bug: go back to RetroArch menu (default combo is L+R+SELECT+START), in OPTIONS you have to enable "Swap Joypads".
- For change the "go back to emulator menu combo" go to "Settings->Input->Input Hotkey Binds->Menu toggle" , I use the right analog "down".
- The Final Burn Alpha cores uses FBA v0.2.97.30 romset , NOT MAME romset.
- Some cores need bios files in order to run, that files are copyrighted and you can not ask for them here, but google is your friend ;) . Put all bios in some folder and in settings choose that folder as your bios folder.The exception is NeoGeo, it need "neogeo.zip" in your NEOGEO roms folder. PC Engine need the bios in the roms folder too. prboom.wad only works when in same folder as the wad you launching is in.

- As today 26-August-2016 fbalpha2012_libretro.vpk run CPS3 games but at 20fps, it needs some optimization

This homebrew has a new version each day, if some cores o games does not work, they will do in later releases ;)

It give me error : "failed to obtain title id, check that pram.sfo is correct"

I tried the FCEU (NES Emulator) and it worked fine, haven't had any luck with getting the SNES emulator to load a ROM though yet, and havent tried any of the other ones yet

Change your dns settings and download it again, thats work for me ;)

PicoDrive seems to crash when loading roms directly or from .zip
SNES9X doesn't load roms.
CATSFC runs fine, but thinks the controller is in port 2. Options - Swap Joypad
Gambatte won't load roms
Genesis_Plus_GX ran Sonic 2 just fine. Didn't test very far though
Save States seem to write, but they can't be loaded. The files are there however. "Failed to load state from x"
Not sure how much feedback you want here on the forum heh

I can install The Dos one but trying to get any games to run/install from it black screens than resets.

Well... if push comes to shove, I COULD always host a global page for this RetroArch branch, if only because the GBATemp thread died down as it was made for Revitalize.
