if you install VHBL bubble using the new wololo tutorial you can use the older psp emulators which dont suffer garbled sound issues and there is a NES emu among them :)

Can you please link me to said tut? I'd love to be able to put my PSP's NESTERJ on my Vita.

Yes, there certainly are! There are some really cool nes emulators out there like:

1. FCEUX
2. Nintendulator
3. BizHawk, etc.

There are other great emulators too but I would suggest you to read more about them before deciding which one would be best for you.

Why in the world would you recommend a Henkaku user install VHBL?

I mean I have one, but it's only for nostalgia.

VHBL is limited and compatibility is low compared to Adrenaline. Adrenaline also utilizes 64mb of ram. I will report back which emulators I'm using when I get home because I haven't turned my Vita on in a few days.

Anyway, VHBL is for users who don't have Kernel access, and it's very limited. If you are on 3.60, there is no reason to touch VHBL.

Just noticed OP was from 2016, nice revival.
