Using Vitashell to Activate Bubbles.
With the our new found access to the inner workings of the PSVita's directories (many thanks to TheFlow), I've begun to wonder if it is possible to install qwikrazor's bubbles without the need of ANY PSP game, but instead through Vitashell.
And ideas?

In fact it is even possible to create a bubble with VitaShell. This is what I am going to add in the future release after having reverse engineered qwikrazors method. Any PSP game as base is still required though.

Well hypothetically speaking (and brace yourself for some ignorance):
Couldn't we just create a directory into which we can export the files we want to bubble; what other changes will be necessary to make this work.
Also granted that I somehow had an uninstalled PSP games from another PSP, could I simply move said game into a directory and use it as my base game.
**Obviously I'm pretty desperate to see this method work, I'm probably 1 in 5 people in the world with OFW 3.51, Rejuvenate and no PSP base game

Things just got very interesting real fast.TheFloW wrote:In fact it is even possible to create a bubble with VitaShell. This is what I am going to add in the future release after having reverse engineered qwikrazors method. Any PSP game as base is still required though.

To create working bubble we need __sce_ebootpbp file which we can't create (not until someone figures out how to encrypt and decrypt it) so to create another bubble you need to have at least one psp game or custom bubble. See here:

Re: Using Vitashell to Activate Bubbles.
So I experimented my self and directly copied some PSP games from my PSP3000 to my Vita (via a computer of course). Anyways so now I can see my PSP games in content manager but now I was wondering what the next steps are to get them to appear as bubble. I know they may be tutorials out there but there's specific for this method; hoping to create one if this works out.

Did you read my previous post? I've wrote that at least one psp game is needed but this psp game must be bought from PSS on Vita (or on PS3 and transfered to Vita).

In all honesty, your post didn't say that at all. You really just linked people to another forum. But that aside, what's so impossible about making games already in the GAME folder and content manager work. Some forums imply that __sce_ebootpbp can be extracted using the email trick. Isn't that all we need?szczuru wrote:Did you read my previous post? Yes, you can extract that file from official PSP PSN game but that file contain information about eboot.pbp file so eg if you'll exctract __sce_ebootpbp from Ape Quest game you can use that __sce_ebootpbp only with Ape Quest Eboot.pbp.darkshadow wrote:In all honesty, your post didn't say that at all.
