So after trimming my SNES library to only a few games I'd see myself playing, I tried All-Stars + World. As people have said, I can't play 1-player, and going into Battle Mode, I believe I know why: 2 controllers are emulated at the same time. Pressing the button moved both Mario and Luigi in unison.

You should not implement save states. Life will be better for everybody. Nobody will be tempted to cheat when they're doing a super hard part in a game.

Save states should deffo be implented. If someone thinks its cheating - dont use it, simple... Everyone else who prefers to be able to save whereever and whenever you want rather then when the game thinks you should save should be free to use save states.
Its singeplayer games, not online, if people want to "cheat" in SP games, go right ahead. Thats up to each and every one. They("the cheaters") isnt affecting you(the "omg fking cheater!!!") in any shape or form.

Just played a bit of A Link to the Past and it works great.

Can't wait for a menu system to be implemented since it'll be good to be able to exit and pick another game.

I've released a new version again. Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/d7hl4 ... 150803.elf

New features:
* Touch-based file selector that should hopefully handle large file lists
* Press UP + TRIANGLE + L + R in-game to exit the current game and select a new ROM
* No longer display FPS (gained a small speed boost, the text library I was using isn't very efficient).
*** If you're curious of your current FPS, press 5 fingers to the screen and it will be printed to your Windows terminal
* Only emulates a single controller, should fix the games that only allowed you to select 2-player

I'm wondering if it's possible for a future build to put your saves into a saves folder?

Just asking because having the saves in the same folder as the games is a little messy otherwise the new update works great although a little slow with Shin Megami Tensei.

The touch menu is really cool, but i can run latest version of Snes9xnextvita fine only first time, the next times i try to lauch it i get a blackscreen on the regular psm. The only way to get it again working is launching another homebrew then i can get snes9xnextvita with touch menu again working.
The previous versions of your emu haven't this issue.

New release of Snes9xNextVITA. Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/y7cb6 ... 150808.elf

New features:
* Recompiled to be compatible with PSM for Unity!

Next on the roadmap:
* Multithreaded audio for speed boost
* Ability to use both buttons and touch input for file selection, instead of touch-only
* Hopefully Super Scope and Mario Paint mouse input emulation using touch
