Hi,

I've just released the first WIP version of my port of Snes9xNext to the Vita. As of now, it is extremely barebones, and I've only tested it with NTSC ROMs.

https://github.com/skogaby/Snes9xNextVITA Source Code
http://www.mediafire.com/download/djjdr ... _fixup.rar ELF Download

Current features:
* Graphics!
* Sound!
* Input!

Currently lacking:
* Once you select a ROM, you can't back out and re-select a new one yet
* Emulator doesn't run at fullspeed
* Saving doesn't work
* Analog sticks don't work
* Probably a lot of other stuff

As I said, it's very much a work-in-progress. Please feel free to give it a whirl, though!

I tried a couple of games and thought I'd leave some 'feedback', in case youre interested in things like that. :roll:
Yoshis Island(USA/NTSC) - ran at about half-speed(30-35fps), which is more than any SNES emu managed through ePSP!
Mario All-Stars(SMB3)(USA/NTSC) - for some reason I couldnt select '1 player game', selecting '2 player game' worked fine though... very weird... the FPS was around 47-50, which makes it pretty much playable without any major headaches.

Those are the ones Ive tried so far :)
For such an early build the emu is great! Keep up the good work :mrgreen:

endrift has posted an early alpha of mGBA for the Vita:
Early alpha of mGBA for the PS Vita, now with mostly-working audio: https://endrift.com/files/mGBA-Vita-alpha01.velf

Menus and speedups coming soon!
https://twitter.com/endrift/status/625454373875810304
It can only load one ROM at the moment, which needs to be in VitaDefilerClient/Documents/GBA/rom.gba, and a save file at rom.sav.

Also it looks like the D-Pad doesn't work at the moment, but the analog stick does. It doesn't seem to be full speed in most games, but it's pretty close.

Quick fix for some games that refused to load or save, including Pokémon Emerald: https://endrift.com/files/mGBA-Vita-alpha02.velf; RTC still doesn't work though.

fk yea! Finally I can continue playing Minish Cap :P prev. versions had broken gfx that made it impossible to progress :( and no sound :(...
Funny though, because the dpad worked fine in that build :geek:

Still, no gfx bugs(as far as I have seen now) and sound(although not perfect) beats dpad support without a doubt :lol:
Things are starting to look great for the vita :)
