Ps vita 3.60 corrupting the system

Post by lerfl » Sat Oct 06, 2018 12:46 am

I have a problem here, I have a Ps Vita Fat in version 3.60, I happened to lock it when downloading a PSM game by PKGJ and I have to force the shutdown, again the buttons stopped responding in the games, both the situations Ps Vita could not start, went to the warning screen that appears on the power and then turned off. The only way to fix it is by restoring the system or reinstalling the Vita firmware by recovery. Is this something related to henkaku or can it be some hardware problem?

Sorry for bad English, translated by Google Translate.

Hey, sorry to hear about your crash. Generally apps are not able to corrupt the system to that level without help (vitarw or similar hardcoded functionality). My first guess would not be hardware but plugins, have you tried starting the system while holding L to disable plugins? Anyway, theoretically it could be hardware, but considering the simi-stable nature of homebrew in general at this point, I would lean towards software as the cause.
