I was on firmware 3.36, working fine and attempted to update to 3.60 for henkaku. I put in the dns and downloaded the update file successfully, it said something about restarting to install the update so I did so. When attempting to turn the unit back on, the ps blue light is on and nothing on the screen. After a while, pretty sure the vita just shuts down. I booted into Vita safe mode, all options are greyed out accept update vita where I can choose to update from pc, vita game card or ps3.
My vita's charging port is not working so I am currently charging into through a lithium ion battery board mod. There is no usb access to pc. Must I get usb access working through the mini usb lithium ion battery board or is there another way to fix this?
Is there a way to update from memory card or vita game card? Anyone know of a vita game card with any update file after 3.36?
EDIT: Just wanna play soul sacrifice guys. Please help.
