It just doesn't make any sense! I don't get it! :(
But uh yea good news is HENkaku will let you get back online but if it keeps installing the old one then IDK tho I think it should still get you online.

Makes no sense to me either. I'm usually quite good at working stuff out for myself - hence the limited number of posts from me here.

SO, I used the old version to get PSN access to deregister this device and then formatted the lot!
Started from scratch (dang those TIPS are annoying) and eventually set up wifi and accessed beta.henkaku. Guess what? It dang-well installed the old version AGAIN!

Do you think yifanlu or Davee will read this? Maybe they have some insight into this anomaly?

Delete molecule

Get latest henkaku (not beta)

Once done, reboot

Then go to beta henkaku

You should be fine now. Dont update vita shell in molecule, just install the separate vitashell vpk

You could try messaging them on twitter since it would be faster then hoping they see this post.

I've just done so:

Accessed http:/henkaku.xyz and clicked install twice to install BUT it still installs the OLD version 7b9c247.
That version is installed regardless of if I access installation from henkaku, go.henkaku or beta.henkaku.

Thanks for the help though.

Hold the phone! Do you have any changes to your DNS? like in the wifi settings is the DNS auto or is it set manually?

Not that I'm aware of.
I simply switched on wifi, identified my router and completed the password and Bob was my uncle!
Can I check for what you're asking somewhere?

Gusha wrote:I have previously installed HENkaku from http://go.henkaku.xyz and used it to install and run apps and emulators.
I'm interested in installing Adrenaline but am unable to install the latest revision of taiHENkaku from the suggested http://beta.henkaku.xyz.
I can get the installation process to start but it seems to be installing an older version of HENkaku as opposed to the taiHENkaku desired. I can confirm this by the fact that during the installation it loads a .bin file from go.henkaku and not beta.henkaku as seem in the Z's video on installation. Also Molecular shell starts with Vitashell version 0.91 and suggest updating to 0.99 which when done actually updates to 1.41.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled/deleted/rebooted all to no avail.

How can I get beta.henkaku to install the latest version of taiHENkaku?
Follow the steps below, and you should have no problem..
- Reboot device
- (Optional) Rebuild Database
- Launch your browser, immediately close all windows.
- Goto [settings] Delete Cookies, Clear Search History
- Now, point your browser to http://beta.henkaku.xyz
- Hold [R1] button while page loads to force install taihenkaku
If done properly, modules should install successfully and thereby redirected to your LiveArea.
Launch molecularShell to be sure all is working fine.

That's all, just go ahead and follow [adrenaline] installation procedure to setup your device 8-) . I hope you find this helpful. Good luck!

Ill give it a try - I've done most of what you suggest except for the R1 bit.
Just re-downloading my psp game in the hopes of getting Adrenaline eventually.

I'll report back as soon as I've tried it!
