[OPEN] Blocking PSN UPDATE SERVERS?

Hi. I wanted to know if possible can certain sony dns addresses be blocked with a program like opendns to be able to block system updates to access psn which in turn lets me play online with a ps vita? I know the same thing can be done with a nintendo 3ds to block nintendo dns addresses so i was hoping the same can be done with ps vita.
