Aren't QCMA and OpenCMA programs for a computer. Then what's the point of putting it on the ps3? I'm confused.

you open QCMA/OpenCMA on your computer, plug your vita in, unplug it, and DON'T close the error.
You then plug the vita into your ps3 and close the error.
voila! connect to ps3 on lower firmware, where you can transfer games.

Disable wifi, then power down Vita, then powerup. Then repeat the steps. I'm assuming you are using the USB swap trick.

Method 1: PC Over WiFi or USB

1. Airplane mode
2. Power Off
3. Power On
4. Wifi On
5. Connect with QCMA not regular CMA or OpenCMA

Method 2: PS3
1. Connect Vita to PC via method 1
2. Disconnect from PC
3. Connect to PS3
4. Transfer downloaded games

This is all you can do, no other way (for now)

No. I mean, I've tried those. Not working. I'm TRYING to get a downloaded Vita game from my PS3... it keeps telling me to update my vita firmware.
