[Resolved] Playstation Plus renewal on lower firmware

Post by quackwalks » Sat May 30, 2015 2:57 pm

I have 3.50 firmware running ARK2 on a Vita slim. I was wondering if it's possible to renew a PS+ subscription and increase the days left on PS+ games. Can I download the games on a PS3 and transfer with QCMA or is my only option to update? I tried the Vita Update Blocker v1.2 but I couldn't get it to work. Sorry if the answer is commonly known; I'm sorta new and my time is limited.

Yeah you can do that, last time I tried to access PSN on my 3.50 Vita it still worked. I usually experience problems trying to use VitaUpdateBlocker so if you're having trouble getting it to work look up how to use Charles Proxy and give that a try. Whenever I try to download games using VitaUpdateBlocker that are larger than a couple MB the request always times out so thats why I've basically given up trying to use it. Charles is a little more tedious but it's always worked without fail for me.

Thanks, dude. I'll give it a go.

edit:
Using QCMA and switching the usb cable into a PS3 works fine. Automatically kept the updates and game saves. I feel bad for any newcomer without a PS3.
