You will need to have;

1- Firmware lower then 3.51 (Ideally ~3.15-3.20) to start.
2- Secondly you require access to an exploit game, which should be backed up to PC or PS3. PC is better because you can use QCMA to copy files easily without having to connect to PSN first which allows you transfer files easily between your PSVITA and PC quickly.
3- You have to know what kind level your exploit game is capable of running, most games are capable of running TN-V eCFW but to make sure do a bit of searching online to figure this step out.
4- You need to know the process of transferring files too and from the PC to Vita, usually you require special formatting of the files to be read/installed to the ps vita. e.g ISOs need to be in a structure similar to this; DBZTT.ISO (this is Dbz Tag Team iso) as you can see you need to have the name renamed to no more than 5 characters and iso needs to be capitalized, then you can drop this file into your backed up savedata location on the PC and then you can copy it over from the vita side using CMA.
5- If you are looking to have video tutorials then refer to The Z (The Zett) on youtube. He is able to supply most of the processes. Also have a decent look around these forums, they are difficult to find in some cases but extremely helpful if found.

Feel free to reply to this for any queries.

I watched a bunch of The Z's videos and eventually bought Talkman Travel:Tokyo. It seems like the best game to use for firmware 1.18 (I had 1.15 but updated) and is cheap (only $3). Also only uses 18MB.

I use the Talkman exploit also. For the bubble method I sign every game with Vice City Stories (because it's a big game and runs everything) then I use the Naruto Kizuna Drive demo as a placeholder for everything. The Kizuna Drive demo shares my VCS license so I can have small MB bubbles using a big game as a base.

"tv-n" lololol. TNV is a eCFW.

eCFW = Emulated Custom Firmware. This includes ARK and TNV.

So to recap TNV and ARK are both eCFW and are both very capable.

To tell your best exploit what region do you live?

Hi, Im in a similar situation as threadstarter, right now my vita is running on 3.15. I saw that numblast is back on PSN. I was wondering if is possible for my vita (3.15) to be able to run the exploit for 3.36/2.50 without updating my firmware?

I'd recommend on 3.15 buying arcade darts, it's a cheaper and smaller game that can run TN-V just as easily. But if you're just wondering about Numblast, it will still work on 3.15. You can use vita update blocker to block the new update to download it, but not for long! Usually the update blocker only works for a week after a new update comes out. You can also run ARK-2 eCFW if you'd rather run that than TN-V. The Numblast exploit does trigger faster, so either you can go with numblast that will pretty much trigger Instantly or any other 3.15 exploit game, such as Arcade Darts. If you want a list of Vita exploits, you can always look at this one and look for exploits that will fit your FW

I'm in the us. How Can I get world of pool or ape escape for 3.50 since I cant access Ps store Because of the 3.51 update? And I don't own a Ps3 or Ps4. Or would it be better to update to 3.51 and do the new exploit for the Japanese demo?
