I'm hoping it will allow for native homebrew. So we can actually use all of the Vita's power. Full speed SNES emulation is what I want. Maybe even N64.

What makes you say that? Maybe he just wanted to generate a huge influx of interest in the PSM program to try and show sony that getting rid of it is stupid.

I don't think the whole thing was just a for promotion, because the PSVitaSDK thing sounds like it would be useful in not so big ∆Time

This ^ .. Don't take much to know.. something big is coming.. if you were to watch whats been worked on in the vitasdk...irc. Some serious people getting involved for the open sdk. Wont be long now till someone will front page post whats been going on.. and whats been worked on till now... stay tuned.
